ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
4th and 5th Grade
It is very important to celebrate a student's academic success! Each marking period, students in Grades 4 and 5 will receive recognition for their academic performance. The criteria for receiving this recognition is based on each individual students overall calculated grade point average that is based on letter grades earned in the four core content areas (English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies).
Qualifications:
- Earned grades of A, B or C will only be considered in the four core content areas (English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies). Students with D or E letter grades in any core content area will not be recognized.
- Calculations will be based on a 4.0 scale.
