| Ways
you can help our school
For more information,
please contact the school office or any PTO officer
We are always looking for new members on the PTO. We’d love to have
you join. Our meetings are usually the third Tuesday of each month, except
December, in the school media center from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Check our school
calendar for exact details.
What do we do with
all the funds earned?
The PTO supports many activities and classroom programs within our school;
such as field trips, classroom supplies, assemblies, Camp Timbers,
technology, fourth and fifth grade planners, monthly family events (swim
night, math night, etc.), Talent Show, printing expenses, and much
more. Without parent support, we wouldn’t be able to fund all
these programs. Thank you for your continued participation!

Box Tops for
Education – Box Top Drawings!
We receive 10 cents for every box top submitted. Box tops are on hundreds
of General Mills and Betty Crocker products, many of which you are
probably already purchasing. Be sure to write your child’s’ name on
each box top because Auburn School has monthly drawings for cool prizes.
Just drop the clipped box tops in the collection box in the school office.

November 12, December 10, January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, and

label). Auburn School has earned jump ropes, balls and other outdoor
equipment for our student. A drop box is located in the school office.
Fall Fundraiser
A catalog with great holiday gift ideas will be sent home in September.
Money must be collected and submitted with the order forms. Orders will be
in before the holiday season.
Gordon Food Service
“Fun Funds” Program
Purchasing designated “Fun Funds” items at Gordon’s earns money for
Auburn Elementary. Regardless of what type of payment you use, GFS will
donate to us. The percentage we earn is based on the amount of dollars
spent during the quarter by all the Auburn School members. Remember GFS
for holiday get-togethers. If 40 families spend $40 per month, our school
could earn about $2,000 a year in cash rebates. Once you enroll, a key tag
is mailed to your home. Please scan that prior to your purchases.
Applications are available in the school office or at the Gordon Food
Service store in Bay City.
Ice Cream Sales
Every Wednesday during the lunch hour, students can purchase a variety of
ice cream/frozen treats for $.50 each. Proceeds are for the 5th Grade
Field Trip to Camp Timbers.
Ink Cartridges
Don’t toss out your used inkjet printer cartridges! Auburn School
receives a discount on new cartridges when we submit the used cartridges.
There is a collection box in the school office.
Magazine Sales

Meijer
Rewards are earned by using a Meijer credit card, cash or debit card at
any Meijer store. We will receive 1% of all eligible purchases with a
Meijer credit card at a Meijer store and 0.5% of all purchases made with
cash or debit. Once you sign up, you will receive a key tag to scan prior
to your purchase. Sign up forms are available at school, at Meijer or
online at Meijer.com/MCRmember,
or call 1-800-962-7011. Our school code is 661687.
SchoolMall Program
Our school will be participating in the SchoolMall program again this
year. This online program helps our school earn funds without having
students selling door-to-door, collecting money or delivering products.
Over 200 merchants, including J.C. Penney, The Sharper Image and Dell,
have joined together to offer up to 40% of sales to our school for
shopping with SchoolMall.com
You do not have to buy
or sell anything! A flyer and booklet will come home in January. Please
help your child fill out the postcard booklet with the names and addresses
of friends and family you believe will support our school. Students who
return a completed booklet will be entered into a drawing….maybe it’ll
be the robot like last year! Our school will receive a guaranteed $2.25
per 10 mailable postcards. Once we complete our program, these postcards
will be mailed with a brochure offering over 250 family magazine and other
specialty items, along with instructions on how to shop at
www.schoolmall.com.
Spring Fundraiser
Catalogs and order forms are sent home with each student. Money must be
collected and submitted with the order forms. Funds are used for general
activities and special projects.
Target
Every time you use your Target Visa, Target Credit Card or Target Check
Card at any Target store or Target.com, we earn 1% of the purchased
amount. In addition, anywhere else you use our Target Visa, our school
will earn ˝% of the purchased amount. If you already have one of the
above cards, be sure to register it to Auburn Elementary School by calling
1-800-316-6142 or visit www.target.com/tcoe
and enter the code 1047. Tell your family, friends and neighbors to
register their cards to our school too!
